Chiropractic initial assessment and treatment

What to expect from an initial assessment:

This will take approximately. 1 hour

  • A full history – Including Immediate problem, full medical history, previous traumas/accidents, family history etc
  • Neurological examination
  • Orthopaedic examination and testing
  • Gait assessment if relevant
  • Postural assessment to observe biomechanical stresses
  • When clinically necessary referral for MRI, X-ray’s, G.P referral

Then moving on with the working diagnosis to your treatment, using whichever modalities deemed suitable to your tailor made treatment which may include – Adjustments, Soft tissue work, Stretching, Kinesio-taping and Exercise advice
